Natural Living: Natural Miracle Face Mask (Only 3 Ingredients)
09:28
So I promised in my The Seven: Natural Beauty Alternatives
article that I would do a post on a miracle facemask, so here it is.
Like I said in the article, I had a horrible breakout after
I tried the Oil Cleansing Method and no matter what I did, it completely
refused to clear. And you can imagine
that as an actress, it was especially excruciating.
After a while, I completely gave up and resigned myself to the fact that my face would remain bumpy and painful forever. Fast forward a few months and I found myself in a bridal salon in Westlands. As my sister was trying on wedding gowns the salon owner, who was REALLY chatty to say the least, looked at my skin and remarked that she had the perfect solution to my acne problems. And the best part - all the ingredients were 100% natural, edible and cheap. Needless to say, I tried it for the first time the next evening and I kid you not, after 2 weeks of daily use, my skin, which had been tormented for months, had cleared. Now I’d be lying if I said I use the mask daily or even weekly now, but when my skin breaks out or when it needs some rejuvenation, this is ALWAYS my go-to mask.

WHAT DO YOU NEED:
·
Natural yoghurt (unflavored)
·
Gram flour (known to some as chickpea flour)
·
Ground Turmeric
·
Small bowl or cup
·
Spoon
DIRECTIONS
·
Sooooo easy!
Pour 1 teaspoon or gram flour and 1 teaspoon of Turmeric into the
bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of yoghurt and
mix all the ingredients. Feel free to
add more of any of the ingredients until you reach your preferred
consistency. In my experience the more
yoghurt I add, the smoother the mask is and the easier I personally find it to
wash off.
·
After cleansing and scrubbing your face, pat
your face dry and proceed to spread the mask over you face with your fingers. As with any other mask, be careful around the
eyes and rinse out your eyes if you have any accidents.
·
BE CAREFUL!
The Turmeric stains anything it
touches so do yourself a favor and make sure you aren’t wearing white or
your new expensive denim jeans. I
usually do my face-care routine in an old t-shirt and shorts. I’ve also heard that it might slightly stain
fair skin but apparently that is fixed by washing it out completely or washing
your face with your preferred cleanser after the mask.
·
MAKE SURE you wash the mask off properly or you
might find your white pillowcase slightly yellow the next morning. No Bueno!
·
Sit back and wait for miracle results. I personally started seeing results after
about 3 uses. I would say you should
give yourself 2 weeks before giving up on it.
·
I used the mask DAILY when I started because I
was desperate for results but using the mask 2 or 3 times a week is more than
adequate.
So if you have tried the mask and seen or not seen results,
or if you have your own miracle mask that you swear by, feel free to share in
the comment section below. If you are
planning on trying the mask, Good Luck!
You wont regret it.
